Normal?

Should we all live a life that others may not understand because of the uniquity of who we are or should we all conform to the norm?

I don’t want to be normal, I hate the word anyway. Who is normal? My son is autistic, and despite not being diagnosed, I probably am. I like Harry Potter, own a Ravenclaw bag, will go Pokémon catching with my daughter. I write a blog, novels, plays, go to a writing group and spend my evenings writing. Being normal is overrated.

What do you think are the five main components to living a healthy happy life?

Family, friends, kindness (to yourself too), walking my dog, and trying not to stress about the small things.

What do you think is the best colour to paint your main living space and why that colour? What benefits does it award you? I am at a stage where I don’t care what colour my living space is. I’m getting too old to do my own decorating.

What do you consider absolutely pointless in life?

Hate, even when it is deserved. Yes there are times when someone has hurt you, whether physically or mentally. My main character, in my book ”It Won’t Happen Again”, is able to move on because she has no hate for her husband. She learns to give herself positivity instead.

I was bulled as a child, and spent many years hating the bullies. Now, I don’t give them a second thought. I know that I have my family, children, friends, and my bestie.

Love is all that counts.
