This week from https://fivedotoh.com/2023/02/08/fowc-with-fandango-perfume/ is perfume.

Standing at the bus stop, Stella pulled her raincoat around her body, doing up the top few buttons. She hadn’t meant to go out, but buying her mum’s favourite perfume took longer than she first thought.
It wasn’t the most expensive, or glamorous, but the smell reminded her of outings to her favourite restaurant, with lots of salad from the front. She always went for seconds, before ordering the biggest burger on the menu. If she was good, there would be a treacle pudding.
She eventually found it, a little shop on the corner, selling the lavender perfume. It didn’t cost much, so a box of chocolates, and a bottle of wine went with it. She had booked a table at the restaurant, in the hope they still served the treacle pudding. Diets came and went, but it was a treat to have something sweet.
Standing at the bus stop, Stella smiled, as her mum stopped.
‘Do you want a lift?’
Stella smiled, holding on to the perfume. ‘That would be lovely, I can go home and change and we can go to The Harvester afterwards.’
‘That’s good,’ she said, looking behind her, at the car seat, with her granddaughter in it. ‘Sheila hasn’t stopped asking for pudding.’
‘Great minds,’ Stella said.
After all the salad I’ve never had room for a Harvester pudding! This is a really sweet story.
