If I Were a Tree

Written for https://fivedotoh.com/2023/02/15/rorys-morning-dawdler-02-15-23/ and their questions this fine day is

“If you were a tree, what kind of tree would you be and why?”

I would be a Hornbeam tree, mostly because when I left the primary school I was working at, the headmistress chose this tree to describe me. She said my roots were strong, and I could spread my wings when I left. My old school was called after a wood, so trees were there thing.

Name 5 uses for a stapler other than stapling.

Choosing a new colour scheme for painting your house.

Do you believe in tipping for good service received and do you think that tipping makes for a better service? Yes, although I get annoyed when it is automatically added to the bill.

Do you have a blog to write or do you have a blog to socialise only and which one could you survive without if one was taken away? I have a blog to write, although at first it was a way of trying to promote my book ”It Won’t Happen Again”. I am starting to think Amazon doesn’t work, as I haven’t had any sales for a year.

Now, I tend to socialise on my blog, take part in writing prompts and generally find inspiration for other bloggers. We are a talented team of authors trying our best in a busy world of writing.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
