It depends what I have done, if I feel I am right in my decision, I will back myself all the way. However, there will be times when I have made mistakes. Nobody is perfect, and the old saying, those in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. Being right isn’t always the best thing, listening to others, that’s what makes the difference.
My decision to move away from the town I was born in was a hard one. I cannot see my family when I want to. I had to because I couldn’t think of being so far away from my daughter. It was better when my son came to live with me too (with his best friend).
I don’t get to see my brother as often as I would like, but we call each other, catch up in a different way. It is special when we see each other, and I love him so much. This year we have lots of special birthdays, so we can meet up more often.
Sometimes we have to make the decision that works for us, and that’s what we needed to do. We own our house, don’t have a mortgage, and I can help out my children when they need me. I get to spend time with my granddaughter, taker her to school sometimes. My husband as a smile on his face, because he takes her every week. I wouldn’t have written my play, or self published my book without moving.
It sounds like moving was the right decision for you! Xx
