Super excited about my part in anthology of poems run by CIVIC LEICESTER. There are many amateur writers, who have been part of this exciting project. I can’t wait to see it in print, and look forward to reading the other amazing poems, as well as my own.

Normally I prefer writing longer pieces, however poetry is something you can write in a few words, still having a positive impact. I am extremely lucky to be part of this talented group of writers.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
