1. Do you have a special talent (ie music, art, singing, dress making, pottery etc).
I have a talent for writing, (hopefully). I was eight when I started writing, and don’t think I will stop until I can no longer type or write. I cannot sing, I am more than tone deaf. My children asked me to stop singing nursery rhymes when they were children.
2. What was your best subject at school and was it your favourite? My favourite subject was history. We were learning about the second and first world war. My dad, a paratrooper in the second world war, would tell me the names of all the battles. I could recite them all, and was asked if I wanted to do an O level in them. There was a mixture between CSE and O levels. I would say it the same as foundation level, and higher level in GCSE exams today.
3. Do you like to cook?
I like to cook. Can I cook though? I would say I am learning. I can now make a tasty bolognaise from scratch, so that is progress. My husband is the chef/cook in our house.
4. Do you get riled easily?
No, I tend to keep my temper. Although, once I do get angry, it is time to move out of my way.
Grateful – As always I have a lot to be grateful for. This week it is my pets. I have two dogs. One, a German Shep Rottweiler, and the other a Jack Russel (my brother-in-law’s dog, as he is in a care home). Mostly they get along, but the Jack Russel rules the roost (female) and my dog just takes it. (male)
Thanks for joining in Diana. I can well believe the dog status!

My dad was also a paratrooper in WW2, he was a Screaming Eagle in the 101 Airborne.
