I dragged myself out of bed like a zombie – I hate Mondays.
It wouldn’t have been so bad if I had gone to bed at a reasonable time, but I was binge watching I Zombie, and wanted to see how the first series ended. Only it was on season five I finally fell asleep. With the television still on. Perhaps I will have to rewind it back to where I fell asleep
A glance a the clock, I pulled my legs from under the covers, and my dog stared at me with those ”I need a wee” walks. Clothes on, at least the fresh air was waking me up. A cup of coffee, and my zombie eyes finally opened, allowing me to function as a fully fledged adult.
I drove to work, thinking about the weekend, and the roads were quiet. There were no traffic jams today. An easy drive. Even the car park was empty. I glanced at my watch, maybe I was a little early. A day early; my dream about being at work, being a zombie at a keyboard, must have confused me.
It was then I realised it was a bank holiday.
Right, back home it was then. Another cup of coffee, I could take in another series before everyone else got up.
Happy days.
Luckily you remembered in time.

I did, although the I Zombie bit didn’t happen. I drove to work, thinking I was late, then realised it was a Sunday.

If itβs a holiday, everyone mentions it so often the no one forgets.

True, it depends on what you are dreaming about lol. When it happened to me, I dreamt I was late for work.
