I started blogging in 2021, when I wanted to promote my book ”It Won’t Happen Again”. I wanted to give other author’s advice, and I did that for a while. I posted snippets of my book. Finding the word prompts changed my posts. I found a group of talented writers, who clearly love writing as much as I do. I would write lots of posts, now I rarely go over three and accept I cannot post every day.
Since my blog started, I wrote a play, ”The Kingswood Beast”. I was commissioned for that play, with an opening night. VR360, a new way of entertainment. I have just had a poem put in an anthology. Yes, I am still working full time, but I have found an enjoyment I didn’t think I would.
Another, Share your World asked, ”Have you ever lied about your age”. Unlike my mum, who was 21 for many years, I am fifty-seven years old. In three years I can retire, take a private pension. Will that stop me working? No, because then I can write full time. I can show my granddaughter, you can be anything you want to be. Don’t give up on your dream.
Would I like to be published one day? Have an agent? Yes, I would. Am I proud of what I have achieved? Yes, because not everyone can write a novel, or a blog. I read some amazing posts.
My daughter designed the colours of my blog, and suggested a name. Writer Ravenclaw.
Bravo my friend for holding on to your dreams and achieving your goals. π

Oh, you’re as old as I am. I turn 57 on the 20th.
I have been reading your posts and your comments fir some time and always imagined you as a much younger person, maybe late 20s or early 30s. That goes to show that you are only as old as you feel (or write).

“Almost, but not most.”
We’re still three years short.
Except for one creaky knee and reading glasses, I feel about thirty.
