The question on my lips
Was that really me?
Climbing that mountain
when all around felt rushed.
Facing a low point,
but not giving up,
Getting out of bed
even when exhausted
from anxiety, pain.
Was that really me?
Escaping from fear.
Believe me, it was you … I think it’s my turn

Throughout life, we embark on an introspective voyage of personal advancement, pondering whether we can transcend our perceived boundaries. Your eloquent expression has stirred us to reflect on our individual journey and raise the same inquiry – “Was that really me? – when we find ourselves in moments of doubt. I extend my gratitude for sharing this beautiful piece of literature. ππππ

Sometimes our past doesn’t seem like we went through it. It gets blurred somehow – even the painful times. Well done and very thought-provoking.
