I am most creative first thing in the morning.
Before I go to my job, I engage in writing for half an hour. I find myself more productive then because there is a limited amount of moments. The more I dedicate to my novel, I keep wanting to change it.
When I have hours to write, it is never as good.
I used to handwrite my intitial ideas, and because of this, I wasn’t concerned about the edits. They were just rough notes, which could be filled out later. When I type on to a computer, it is more difficult to keep it as a draft.
Creativity is a concept we should take pride in.
If you are an artist, it doesn’t look perfect at first glance, so it should be the same for writing.
I think revision, time, and space are vital parts of the creative process.🕴It is strange how when you have the last two at your disposal it can be hard to do the first one, but I also think my subconscious is always at work on my stories, even when I’m sleeping.

I so agree with you Diana that creativity may not be perfect the first time it’s done but we can always improve upon it. Thanks for sharing

Hi Diana, it is the same for me when I write, I edit as I go along if I am typing on my laptop.
