I have been blogging for a few years, and when I started, I posted every day, without a break. Now I accept that spending time away from the computer helps with my writing.

Connecting with other bloggers supports me in reading, even if I don’t pick up a book. With so many beautiful stories, poems, and viewpoints. Your posts have made me laugh and cry, and with each word choice, I am immersed in a storyteller’s world.

A network of authors I rarely encounter.

Friends and family do not understand the dedication that goes into putting pen to paper, or typing out a novel.

Other writers do.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
