Thin Air

I always trip over thin air

headlong towards disaster

With a genuine family laughter

my loved ones care

I can trip anywhere; up stairs, on flat ground, over my own two left feet. When I tripped in a shop carpark, a couple of strangers asked if I was okay. My husband and daughter couldn’t stop laughing. I can’t blame them; I probably would have laughed too. In fact, I was laughing at myself for being so clumsy. Also, I cannot say I wouldn’t have found it funny before making sure they were okay.

I did the same when I was on a games console and hit my head on the underneath of the stairs because I was concentrating on the bowling on the Wi-ii. I was in hysterics before I held my head and found the bump.

Luckily there was no damage done.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
