I always trip over thin air
headlong towards disaster
With a genuine family laughter
my loved ones care

I can trip anywhere; up stairs, on flat ground, over my own two left feet. When I tripped in a shop carpark, a couple of strangers asked if I was okay. My husband and daughter couldn’t stop laughing. I can’t blame them; I probably would have laughed too. In fact, I was laughing at myself for being so clumsy. Also, I cannot say I wouldn’t have found it funny before making sure they were okay.
I did the same when I was on a games console and hit my head on the underneath of the stairs because I was concentrating on the bowling on the Wi-ii. I was in hysterics before I held my head and found the bump.
Luckily there was no damage done.
One has to always watch their steps. Nice write 👍

Stay safe my friend. I was given great advice by my aunt. Always look down when walking. That way you can see where you’re stepping.

That is good advice.

I am like that too, I am the clutz of the family 💜💜. I never grew out of the clumsy stage 💜

Haha! I always tell my daughter she trips over the flowers in the carpet – basically the same thing 😉
Of course, she inherited that from me… glad you didn’t seriously hurt yourself!
