approach, looking, street, breath, strange.
with hypnotic and scorch
I approach the scorching void, looking all around me, but all I hear is her words drawing me in. They are so calming, soothing, like I will always be safe. No longer in control I go where I am led.
It is strange, but the street is changing into something else. A familiar street, where the breath of fog carries me further, until I am told to sit down. I do this because I am told to.
Everything she says appears in front of me, and I am not alone. I am in a race, changed into a horse. There are hurdles I need to jump over, which I do. Scenery changes, and so do I.
‘I’m counting down from five and you’ll be back with us. Five, four, three, to one . . .’
Laughter, all around me, and I realise what has happened. I have been in a hypnotic trance all the time.
Me, the person who said I could never be put under.
Ha! Well done. You certainly let the words transport you, Diana.

Thank you, and I was reminded of a show I went to where they had to be in the grand national, it was hilarious to see.

I was on holiday at Pontins, but luckily I wasn’t the one under. I was watching it.
