Halloween – Wendy Witch and the Halloween Party

FOWC

Last year, for my birthday she brought me a unique piano, and lessons to go with it. She always gives such great gifts. Personalised, this was haunted by Ludwig Van Beethoven, and every time I play it is like he is there with me.

Upstairs in my office, I think of what I can do as a surprise. I close my eyes, and cast a spell. My piano disappears, and I can hear the shrieks from the party downstairs. A cackling like no other, and my family wait for my performance.

Earlier, I hid the broom inside earlier, and now I get to repay the person who has always been there for me. I close my eyes, and I slip through the floorboards and I am sitting at the piano.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
