A new year and the one resolution Amy wanted to do was pole dancing. Born in 1960, she was brought up never to waste a single moment, but the pace of life got in the way.

There was no excuse now.

She booked the classes, and even brought the costume for her final performance. It was crimson, with diamond sparkles. For now, she would be wearing jogging bottoms and and an old t-shirt.

There would be lots of laughter, coffee and maybe a drink or three. Just what she needed, and she already knew what her next plan would be.

A parachute jump.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
