Wedding – Page Boy

Page

Charles stood behind the bridesmaids,

a pageboy head to toe in blue

pulling at his little bow tie

Did he think he could sue?

His price a few choice chocolates

with the peppermint inside

a can of orange fanta

would soothe his wounded pride

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
