Now That’s a Question

Roy, at Earthly Comforts https://earthlycomforts.uk/2022/10/29/question-time-over-coffee-2/ and I will answer his questions.

What ways are you adopting to save on energy bills?

I have a smart meter now and can tell when I am using the most energy. The air fryer tends to use less energy, so I will use that when I can. In the summer I put my clothes outside to dry, but it is more difficult in the winter.

Are there too many TV channels today, offering too much content choice and do you struggle to find something to watch. I tend to binge watch shows. My daughter tells me something she is watching, and it is normally something she thinks I will like.

How often do you read, watch, or listen to the news? I used to watch every day, but don’t anymore. It is either depressing or the same thing, just going in a different direction.

What would you say are five important life skills people should know? Kindness, respect, budgeting, learning to look after yourself, staying safe.

When at school how often did you complete your set homework? Every week, it was better to the homework before I was given more.

What don’t men understand about women, and what do women want men to really know. We are complicated, but we want what everyone wants, to be respected for who we are.

What do people want from life? They want respect, and to be able to live their life without fear.

What is your most comfortable pair of shoes and why? I don’t have a comfortable pair of shoes, but the pair I wear to work are comfortable because they are flat.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.

  1. Hey Diana πŸ™‚

I am with you regards to the news, it is all the same just branching off differently. I glance at the headlines for a couple of minutes a few times a day, but aside from that, what’s new. Good life skills. What was the last show you binge watched?
