2. What is a teddy? It is someone from the sixties, famous for their brilliant, coloured hairstyles.
3. What is cross stitch? A teddy boy will have a cross stitch in their hair so they will keep the style in place.
4. What is a basque? It is a type of fish, used in net making.
5. What are daps? People who are a little bit forgetful, or dappy.
6. What are culottes? They are colours used on a paint tray, to make up the different shades.
7. What are pedal pushers? They hand out free pedals, designed to make someone go faster on a bike.
8. What are trews? They are a slip of the tongue, where the truth spills out.
9. What is a gym slip? A piece of paper, given to the teacher, to be allowed not to do gym.
10. What is a feather cut? It is the smallest cut, designed to make fish.
