In the UK, we have recently had a change of leadership from Boris Johnson to Liz Trust (who lasted a shorter time than a lettuce) and now Rishi Sunak. I am not really into politics. To be honest don’t know who I want to vote for.

My dad was pure conservative, my father-in-law too. They would never have voted for Labour, or Liberal. I’m not sure what they would have thought about the current situation. Disappointed, for sure.

I would like to think I would listen to what their policies were before I voted. It is difficult to trust them though. They promise one thing, but it doesn’t happen. When Liz Truss was in power; she gave everyone tax cuts, but mostly the ones with money.

People will get annoyed at that.

Don’t just tax the ones who are struggling to pay their bills, not sure if they have enough money to eat. There are many in the UK, in the world, with far more money than they need. Yes, many have worked hard for that. There are footballers earning millions a week for kicking a football, where firemen are risking their lives for not enough pay.

Leadership, is something that should be earned, not given. Maybe thinking of those, not so well off, to help them all we can. If that is just to give a homeless shelter some food, then every little helps.

I may not have much money, but I will be looking at my granddaughter’s old toys and donate them to charity. If we all do what we can, the world would be a better place to live.
