New Year Resolutions

Her Sunday Poser, from

One thing I want to do in 2023, is to make my garden fit for my granddaughter to play in. My decking needs replacing, and the garden has more weeds than plants. I am getting older, and cannot put the effort in myself. My husband isn’t much of a gardener either.

I am going to save some money, put it in another account, and get a professional to do the work for me. In the summer, I want to go in my garden, and relax, knowing it is safe for her to play in.

Perhaps my husband will be able to buy his shed. I am going to get him to draw a plan for what he wants it to look like.

I will try and finish my novel, have my first holiday abroad, and spend more time with my family. I have to start spending less time indoors, and more time enjoying life.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
