Fibs

This week from https://pensitivity101.wordpress.com/2023/04/28/fibbing-friday-28th-april/

What came before the big bang? The husband forgot his anniversary, even though his wife was hinting all week.
What did Galileo drop off the tower of Pisa? A tennis ball, he wanted to test The Theory of Relativity.
Is a Cartesian bear similar to a polar bear? No, he is the cousin of Yogi Bear, but he prefers to drive a car.
What did Newton say when the apple landed on his head? Where did that apple come from?
Why did Columbus think the world was round? When he forgot his anniversary, it was the birds spinning around his head.
What was Heisenberg uncertain about? When his wife’s birthday was. He had to keep a diary, to remember any important dates. He didn’t want to end up like Columbus.
What was the name of Schrödinger’s cat? Candy, because he loved to eat cake.
When a photo finish decides the winner of a race, did they change the outcome by measuring it? They tried to measure, but nothing worked, so they used hands instead.
What is the God particle used for? It is man’s only defence against forgetfulness.
Is the theory of everything all you need to know? I only need to know what is happening today. The future can be scary, so the least we understand the happier we will be.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
