Kindness

Written in response to https://fromcavewalls.wordpress.com/2023/04/27/three-things-tranquil-thursday-12/

  1. Do you often extend kindness to others? When was the last time a kindness was extended to you? Kindness can be a small thing, like opening a door, or saying something nice. The last kindness I have been shown is a well done from my daughter. Kindness costs nothing, a smile, or someone giving you a compliment.
  2. What was the last mischievous thing you did? I’m not that brilliant at mischievous, although I do like a laugh with my family and friends.
  3. How often do you sing with just your voice? No radio, no music, no accompanying voices? I am tone deaf, my voice sounds like a cat is screaming. I love singing in the car, nobody can hear me, and I enjoy the singing. It is also a great way of relaxing after a stressful day.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.

  1. We are all way too critical of our singing voices. I say we form a cat chorus!

You are so right about kindness. It costs nothing and can be such a light in an otherwise gray day.
