For Truthful Tuesday

Truthful Tuesday

I tend to celebrate the day with my grown up children, partner and friend. What makes it Christmas for me is my granddaughter. She is of an age where she will marvel at all the lights, baubles, and Christmas gifts. She has such a great giggle and will always make me smile.

The other day she couldn’t stop laughing as she was throwing a tennis ball to her dog. It made us all laugh because she was so happy.

We are probably going to eat far too much, and have way too many presents for her. She’ll be more aware of the event itself this year. My dog will also have a Christmas stocking and the butter (didn’t end up well a few years ago) will not be left on the side for him to pinch. He would have the Turkey if it wasn’t in the oven.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
