Reading Again?

I have written this piece for https://lifeafter50forwomen.com/author/sadje19/. Her question do I re-read old favourites.

I never get rid of any of my books, and every so often will re-read any one of them. It depends on how I am feeling, or what I am writing. At the moment I am reading The Strange Death of Fiona Griffiths. It is about a policewoman going undercover to stop the theft of millions of pounds. I have picked this book because of what I am writing. It is in first person, and it helps to see it being done well.

I have read the Harry Potter series many times.

Reading books, going into another person’s head, is one of the best things I do. I love reading, writing, and if I pick up a book more than once, then I get to enjoy it one more time.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
